Under IAU definitions, there are eight planets in the Solar System (Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune) and 296 known extrasolar ones.[3] The Solar System also contains at least three dwarf planets (Ceres, Pluto, and Eris). Many of these planets are orbited by one or more moons, which can be larger than small planets. Planets are generally divided into two main types: large, low-density gas giants and smaller, rocky terrestrials.

um....there are more than ten planets in our UNIVERSE but about 8 in our solar system

Except if you live in Illinois :-)

There are two planets in our solar system that rotate clockwise, so it isn't the only planet: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planet#Rotation

I think the question would be better stated like: which planet rotates counter-the-other-planets-wise. Because if i am in space, i can see the solar system from "above" and see that the planets are orbiting "clockwise", but i can see it from "below" and see them rotating "counter clockwise".
The fact that in space i cannot disinguish above from below allow this to happen.

I like the way I get all the nerd one's (and korean ones) right and screw up on TV/movie questions -__- SIGH

I thought it was 1 at first. But then I read on, and saw that 3 was the right one. :3

Technically incorrect. We have discovered exoplanets outside our solar system.
